As an associate librarian, Gloria spearheads SDSU’s oral history project documenting the African American presence in San Diego. Library faculty and staff produce original research and support information access for the campus community.

Marine Corps veteran John San Miguel interned at SPAWAR through SDSU’s Troops to Engineers program. Currently working on a master’s degree in computer science, John is now a full-time SPAWAR professional and a mentor to SDSU student veterans.

Donor-supported research endowments allow students like Tenille to gain valuable hands-on experiences and enrich their learning by working directly with faculty to address challenges in basic science and the social sciences.
