Fall Semester 2007

  May 11
Personal registration information available online for fall semester 2007.
  June 3 Last day to apply for August 2007 graduation with an advanced degree, Graduate Division.
  July 2 - Aug. 23
Fee payments accepted for registration.
  July 1
First day to apply for May or August 2008 graduation for a bachelor's degree.
  July 5
Final day for submitting theses to the Graduate Division for thesis review to ensure graduation in August 2007.
  July 6 - Aug. 21
Theses may be submitted to the Graduate Division on an at-risk basis. However, August 2007 graduation is contingent upon completion of final processing by noon, August 19. Students missing this deadline will be required to reapply for graduation for the term in which they expect to graduate.

Fall 2007 registration begins.
  July 14 - Aug. 3
New Student Orientation for freshmen and parents (held at SDSU).
  July 21 New Student Orientation in Northern California for freshmen students, transfer students and parents.
  August 1
Applications for graduate admission, readmission and transfer admission to SDSU for the spring 2008 semester accepted from domestic and international (foreign) students. Contact your department for deadlines.
  August 7-15 New Student Orientation for transfer students and parents (held at SDSU).

Final day for depositing approved theses at Aztec Shops Montezuma Publishing. (Noon deadline.)
  August 21 Final day for submitting theses to the Graduate and Research Affairs without having to enroll in Thesis 799B the following semester.

  September 17 Last day to officially withdraw from the university without penalty fee for fall semester 2007.
  September 17 Last day to file application for bachelor’s degree for December 2007 graduation.
  September 17 Last day to file petition for concurrent master’s degree credit for fall semester 2007.

  Nov. 2 - Dec. 21 Theses may be submitted to the Graduate Division on an at-risk basis. However, December 2007 graduation is contingent upon completion of final processing by 12 noon, December 18. Students missing this deadline will be required to reapply for graduation for the term in which they expect to graduate.

  November 30 Last day for submission of incomplete and RP grade removals (excluding thesis) for December 2007 graduation with an advanced degree.
  December 7 Last day of classes before final examinations.
  December 8 - 15 Final examinations.
  December 15 Last day for reporting results on comprehensive examinations to the Graduate Division by department or college.
