Fall Semester 2006

  May 12
Personal registration information available online for fall semester 2006.
  June 3 Last day to apply for August 2006 graduation with an advanced degree, Graduate Division.

Fee payments accepted for registration.
  July 1
First day to apply for May or August 2007 graduation for a bachelor's degree.
  July 5
Final day for submitting theses to the Graduate Division for thesis review to ensure graduation in August 2006.
  July 6 - Aug. 21
Theses may be submitted to the Graduate Division on an at-risk basis. However, August 2006 graduation is contingent upon completion of final processing by noon, August 19. Students missing this deadline will be required to reapply for graduation for the term in which they expect to graduate.
  July 14
Fall 2006 registration begins.
  July 17 - Aug. 21
New Student Orientation for freshmen and parents (held at SDSU).
  July 29 New Student Orientation in Northern California for freshmen students, transfer students and parents.
  August 1
Applications for graduate admission and readmission to SDSU for the spring 2007 semester accepted from domestic and international (foreign) students. Contact your department for deadlines.

SDSU is not accepting undergraduate applications for spring 2007 with the possible exception of highly qualified nursing applicants.
  August 7-11 New Student Orientation for transfer students and parents (held at SDSU).

Final day for depositing approved theses at Aztec Shops Montezuma Publishing. (Noon deadline.)
  August 21 Final day for submitting theses to the Graduate and Research Affairs without having to enroll in Thesis 799B the following semester.

  Nov. 2 - Dec. 22 Theses may be submitted to the Graduate Division on an at-risk basis. However, December 2006 graduation is contingent upon completion of final processing by 12 noon, December 20. Students missing this deadline will be required to reapply for graduation for the term in which they expect to graduate.
