Undergraduate Research

Goal: Expand opportunities for undergraduate scholarship through innovative courses, experiences, and engagement

Divisional Reporting: Academic Affairs

Working Group Progress Update:

  • Investments provide support to expand opportunities for undergraduate scholarship including providing additional funds to support the Student Research Symposium. The working group recommended the establishment of two mini-grant programs to provide students, faculty and staff with financial assistance to further support undergraduate research. The two programs were rolled out in Fall 2014. The faculty mini-grant program has been very successful; the student mini-grant program will be reworked for 15/16. For more information about the Student Research Symposium, visit their website.
