SDSU Day of Giving, set for Tuesday, March 12, will once again bring together a community of Aztec alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, friends and fans in support of impactful programs across the university.

Donors will have the opportunity to support any area that is most meaningful to them, or will have the option to support student success programs highlighted by each university college and department.

Last year, more than 1,300 donors came together to raise over $325,000 for 157 university programs supporting student scholarships, experiential learning opportunities and athletics programs, and bolstered SDSU’s commitment to innovation and inclusivity.

The SDSU Day of Giving is more than just a fundraising campaign; it is a celebration of shared values and goals. It reminds the Aztec community that collective support not only benefits SDSU today, but will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of students for years to come.

Rhys Aiem (‘24) understands the importance of donor support. The Fowler College of Business student credits the scholarships he received for allowing him to volunteer around campus — including as a student manager with the SDSU Men’s Basketball team — without the added burden of uncertain financial circumstances.

“Scholarships have been instrumental in my time at SDSU,” said Aiem. “Donor support has opened doors for me to give my education 100% of my effort without the stress of a financial burden.”
