Professional Development for Faculty and Staff: Continue focused and institutional investment in faculty and staff development to maintain teaching quality, including implementation of a coherent and coordinated advising model integrating Coordinated Care Advising and Major Advising; clarification of advising roles and referral responsibilities; assessment of staffing and caseload needs; and professional development and career pathways for advising staff.

Graduate Student Development:Implement Phase I recommendations to ensure all graduate programs have a professional development plan for graduate students, including establishing a process for annual dissemination of relevant post-graduation data, and clarifying how plans will be integrated into degree program reviews.

Goal 3: To support student success and well-being both inside and outside the classroom, SDSU will strategically increase its programming, resources and capacity to provide mental health, wellness and basic needs support for all undergraduate and graduate students.
