Dari DeSousa is a career Human Resources Professional with 30+ years of broad HR experience, extensive professional knowledge, and the ability to manage projects ranging from small to large.
In 2020, Dari created her own HR Consulting firm and is a California subject matter expert. Dari is a Mediator and a Trainer with the National Conflict Resolution Center. She is a Trainer
with the Human Capital Institute and an instructor at San Diego State University.
She has worked in leadership for a variety of hospitality firms, including Interstate Hotels, Starwood Hotels, and Marriott International for 16 years, and RAR Hospitality. She is the CHRO
and shareholder of BRICK Hospitality, a small hotel management company started in 2023. Dari became the HTM Law instructor in the SDSU Hospitality and Tourism Management program in January 2025. She has been a course instructor for San Diego State University's Global Campus Certificate in Human Resources Management Program since 2015, where she has taught a variety of subjects over the course of several semesters annually. She has responsibility for Talent Acquisition, Ethics, and the Capstone and she is currently the Program Advisor.
