Electrical Engineering
Bachelor of Science
About the Major
Working in teams, electrical engineers fabricate complex, tiny components that are used in computers, sensors, stereo systems, weather satellites, automobiles, modern appliances, and automated factories.
Program Highlights
Our program includes a core of courses that provides an introduction to the generation and distribution of electric power; the collection, processing and communication of information; and the study and application of electromagnetic phenomena and materials. In addition, nearly a full year of electives provides you the opportunity to specialize in areas of particular interest. The design experience culminates in a capstone design course.
