Our nursing major prepares nurses and scholars to lead and transform nursing care in a rapidly changing, diverse, and complex healthcare environment through academic excellence, professional practice, and strong community partnerships. You'll learn about the emerging roles of the professional nurse and the social forces affecting health and healthcare systems. Coursework includes a foundation in biophysical and behavioral sciences, as well as in nursing science and evidence-based practice.
