In addition to the support and resources San Diego State University offers, this page lists other resources from the California State University system and organizations serving undocumented students, immigrants and mixed-status families in San Diego County. These resources are intended to help students, employees, families and allies find reliable information, understand their rights and connect with organizations that can provide guidance and support.

California State University Resources

The California State University (CSU) is committed to ensuring academic opportunities are accessible to all California students, regardless of citizenship status. The CSU is dedicated to providing every student with the resources and support needed to succeed and thrive.

CSU enrollment and tuition policies are not based on immigration status, and state funding available under the California Dream Act is based on residency rules, not immigration status.

The CSU will not release immigration status or related information in confidential student records to federal agencies or other parties without a judicial warrant, a subpoena, a court order, or as otherwise required by law.

There is no connection between the Time, Place and Manner Policy and immigration enforcement actions taken by federal or other agencies external to the CSU. CSU resources include the following:
