Aztecs earn 43 Academic All-Mountain West honors

San Diego State had 43 student-athletes earn Academic All-Mountain West designation for the fall semester, the conference announced Thursday.
 
To be eligible for 2023 Fall Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and competed in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
 
Football led the way with 21 honorees for the fall semester, followed by nine women's soccer players, seven volleyball selections and six from the cross country team.
