About Our Office
Faculty International Engagement Building
The Faculty International Engagement Building houses multiple teams that support the University and academic Colleges. We are located within the International Affairs Complex (next to the SDSU Passport Office). Read below to learn how we can support you.
The Program Devleopment team supports the creation and development of SDSU global learning opportunities, including custom faculty-led programs, COIL courses, course articulation projects, and Glocal programs. Each college has a Program Development Specialist that supports faculty and staff within that college. Have a question about a potential program, or international opportunity? Reach out to the Program Development Specialist assigned to your college.
SDSU has over 300 international partnerships.
Led by the Assistant Director for International Safety, Security & Risk, the International Safety Unit (ISU) supports the university by monitoring situations around the world that may impact SDSU travelers. All SDSU approved programs and Travel Registry submissions are reviewed and approved by the International Safety Unit.
