About International Affairs

SDSU’s Office of International Affairs provides a broad array of data, services, standards, and a physical space that brings people together—a “hub” that connects the SDSU community to global efforts on all its campuses. It serves as the key liaison between local and international institutions and government agencies and all of SDSU's international programs and services. It also oversees the development and maintenance of key Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with all international stakeholders.

In countries such as Mexico, this office convenes an annual action-oriented educational binational conference, in collaboration with Mexican universities, that brings together policymakers from both countries and government agencies to address the shared challenges in the US/Mexico transborder region.

In Georgia, the Office of International Affairs is a key member of the executive committee that oversees the SDSU-Georgia Provision of Degree Accreditation and Institutional Support Initiative for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Program (See Form N1) and the executive committee that oversees the SDSU-Georgia Improving Early Childhood Education (ECE) Institution Management System and Enhancing the Quality of Programs project.
