An annual binational conference that brings together faculty, scholars, researchers, public policy analysts, professionals, public officials, and industry leaders to showcase research and innovations across fields including education and workforce development, health and well-being, environment and energy, innovation and economic development, policy and governance, and migration and multicultural communities.

engagement awards
Each year, International Affairs recognizes exceptional faculty and visiting international scholars through the Faculty Global Engagement Awards. The awards acknowledge contributions that advance global and/or transborder engagement through research, teaching and creative activity.
scholars reception
The International Scholars Reception takes place each spring and is tailored to create connections between international scholars and the wider campus community, including senior leaders, faculty and fellow international scholars at SDSU.
